2016 Service Enhancements at a Glance

At Invoice Cloud, enhancing our electronic billing and payment platform and introducing new features is an ongoing effort to deliver a top-notch experience to our clients and their customers. We’ve seen amazing progress over the years, but there’s always something that could be improved or added to increase functionality. The great thing is that we have the luxury of easily rolling out enhancements to all clients with our Software as a Service (SaaS) solution.

Throughout 2016, we made a number of enhancements, most notably the overhaul of the customer portal, and have listed them below.

Customer Portal

Reporting

Custom Reporting provides clients with more reporting options within the Biller Portal, including the ability to schedule reports for future delivery and sign up to receive standard reports. Read the Cloudburst article…

Online Bank Direct

Several improvements were made to Online Bank Direct, including an alert when there are pending payments, the ability to lock pending payments to avoid duplicate assignments and functionality to automatically match a payment to multiple invoices. Read the Cloudburst article…

AutoPay

The AutoPay settings were updated to allow different payment methods to be used based on the invoice type. When customers with multiple invoice types set up AutoPay, they can select each invoice type and the payment method to go with it.

Cloud POS Connect

Cloud POS Connect is a newly developed application that enables clients to securely take credit card payments with their Point of Sale (POS) system. Cloud POS Connect is installed and run on the client’s POS workstation and currently two swipe devices are supported: Magtek Dynapad and IPAD.

Data Import

Changes were implemented to significantly speed up the data import process. For very large uploads, the import time went from as much as one week to one day.

Cloud Store

A CAPTCHA code was added to the confirmation screen for an extra layer of security. When processing an online payment through Cloud Store, the secure code must be entered successfully to continue the payment process.

Shopping Cart

Our latest shopping cart allows customers to add EBPP and Cloud Store items in one cart. Previously, these would have been processed individually.

ACH Blocking

Clients now have the ability to block certain routing/account numbers in the Biller Portal.
